The Ruling on Rubbing in Ablution
Is washing the feet in ablution under the faucet without rubbing invalid? And does one who does this fall under the warning of the Prophet (peace be upon him): 'Woe to the heels from the Fire'?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The obligation in washing the feet is to ensure that water reaches all of the foot, and rubbing is not required. If it is confirmed that water reaches the foot through the faucet, the ablution is valid, and God knows best.
