The Ruling on Reciting the Basmala Aloud in Prayer
She said: Among the Sunnahs of prayer is to recite the Basmala quietly. Why is that, when it is considered a verse by some scholars?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Whether it is recited secretly or aloud depends on the evidence from the Prophet (peace be upon him). Whoever has established it secretly can recite it, and so on. And God knows best.
