The Ruling on Pronouncing the Takbir
How can we reconcile the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him): 'When the Imam says the Takbir, you should say it too,' with the fact that the Imam does not pronounce it aloud in the audible prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The command to secure the imam does not mean that we should proclaim the security openly, as the effects of secrecy clarify that it is to be understood as secrecy and not proclamation, and God knows best.
