The Ruling on Preceding the Imam in Prayer
The imam said: 'Allahu Akbar' to transition to prostration, and I preceded him by placing my forehead for prostration. Is this from the Sunnah?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is disliked to race the imam in the actions of prayer, but it is recommended to follow him. And God knows best.
