The Ruling on Performing Salat al-Istikhara for Others
Is it permissible for a sister to perform Salat al-Istikhara on behalf of her menstruating sister?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: No one can pray on behalf of another, and during menstruation, one should limit oneself to seeking guidance without prayer, and God knows best.
