The Ruling on Paying Zakat to International Organizations
Is it permissible to give zakat to international humanitarian organizations that are not Islamic, such as UNRWA and the International Committee of the Red Cross, which provide assistance to Muslims or others?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to give zakat to a non-Muslim, as these associations do not consider payment to the designated categories only, so it is not permissible to pay them, and God knows best.
