The Ruling on Paying Zakat to a Sister
Is it permissible for a brother to give zakat to his unmarried sister who lives at home with her mother and father?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to give zakat and the charity of breaking the fast to brothers and sisters, and God knows best.
