The Ruling on Paying Zakat to a Poor Married Woman Whose Husband is Wealthy
Is it permissible to give zakat to a poor married woman whose husband possesses the nisab? Is she considered wealthy due to her husband's wealth?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to give zakat to a poor woman even if her husband is wealthy, because she is not considered rich by her husband's wealth, and God knows best.
