The Ruling on Paying Zakat for a Project from Which One Can Earn
Can I use zakat money to start a project for a poor person to earn from?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible; because the poor person will own the project and it will belong to him, thus he will be the owner of the zakat money, and God knows best.
