The Ruling on Paying Livestock Zakat in Value
Is it permissible in the Hanafi school to pay the value for livestock zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Yes, it is permissible to give all the zakat in value, in a way that is more beneficial for the poor, whether it be food, clothing, or others. And God knows best.
