The Ruling on Not Paying Zakat on Gold for Previous Years
How do I pay the Zakat on the gold I have had for years, as I buy and sell and did not know that Zakat was due on it, nor do I know when it reached the nisab, what should I do now?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: You must strive and estimate when the threshold is reached, and how much you have owned each year, then you pay it, and God knows best.
