Question
A person worked with his sons on a large fishing boat, and this boat was registered in the name of his sons out of necessity. When he passed away, the sons continued to work on the boat and share the profits among themselves without the daughters. What is the ruling on their actions?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the boat truly belongs to the father, they must share it with the daughters; because it is a shared inheritance even if it is in their name. Otherwise, a part of the money they earn will rightfully belong to the daughters, and their consumption of it will be unlawful. And God knows best.
