The Ruling on Memorizing the Holy Quran
I have memorized the short surahs and some beginnings of the surahs, and I feel that I am lacking in memorizing the Holy Quran. Am I sinful?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: there is no sin upon you, but it is recommended that you increase your memorization of the Holy Quran for prayer and other purposes, and God knows best.
