The Ruling on Maintaining Ties with Relatives Whose Earnings are Illicit
My husband's relatives have forbidden food and drink, all of them without exception. Is it permissible for me to prevent my children from visiting them, knowing that my husband maintains ties with them and visits them?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the statement about the prohibition of food and drink is correct, then we must maintain family ties and avoid eating and drinking, and God knows best.
