The Ruling on Listening to Zakir Naik's Lectures
Is it permissible to listen to Zakir Naik's lectures? Knowing that his style, when asked about doctrine, is to respond directly from the translation of a verse?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: I have no knowledge of his lectures, and whether he is influenced by Wahhabi thought and calls for it without realizing he is spreading their creed; his fame indicates that he is among the virtuous, and God knows best.
