Question
One of my friends, her husband insults her religion when he gets angry about anything, and he suffers from depression, but he performs ablution and prays and does not neglect his obligatory prayers; even if he disbelieves, he prays and does not remain in disbelief. Does his insulting the religion at that moment absolve her from his responsibility, so she does not remain his wife, or does it not affect her marriage to him?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: Insulting the religion is disbelief in Allah Almighty, and disbelief nullifies the marriage, and such a case dissolves the marriage contract, and it is necessary to renew the marriage contract. And Allah knows best.
