The Ruling on Holding Friday Prayer Without the Imam's Permission
What is the ruling on someone who holds Friday prayer while there is a prohibition from issuing a fatwa to hold it except in one mosque according to the Hanafi school? Is it required to repeat it as Dhuhr given the disagreement among the schools regarding the condition of the imam's approval?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The prayer of one who prays Friday is not valid due to the lack of its conditions; due to the absence of a public place and permission, and God knows best.
