The Ruling on Hiring a Friday Imam
Is it permissible for the people of a village to hire an imam to lead them in Friday prayers for a duration of four months?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to pay the fee to the imam in the mosque, even if it is for one day like Friday, and God knows best.
