The Ruling on Giving Zakat to University Students
Is it permissible to give zakat to a university student who is unable to pay their tuition fees?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If he is unable to pay the fees, this means he is poor, and it is permissible to give zakat to the poor for fees and other needs, and God knows best.
