What is the ruling on giving zakat to those whose lineage is proven to the family of the Messenger (peace be upon him)?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The fatwa has settled on the permissibility of giving to the Ahl al-Bayt if they are poor; due to the lack of someone to support them, and God knows best.
