The Ruling on Giving Zakat and Fitr Charity to Children
Is it permissible to give my son from the Fitr charity knowing that he is in debt?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to give the zakat of al-Fitr as charity to sons and their children, but it can be given to the son's wife, for example, and God knows best.
