The Ruling on Giving Zakat al-Fitr in Cash
Is it permissible to give Zakat al-Fitr in cash, or is it only valid if given in food?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to give them what is more beneficial, whether it be money or food, and God knows best.
