The Ruling on Giving Value in Aqiqah
Is it permissible to give money instead of slaughtering in Aqiqah?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Since the aqeeqah is an act of devotion, and charity is an act of devotion, both achieve the purpose of attaining reward and blessings and alleviating calamities, and God knows best.
