The Ruling on Giving Charity from the Deposit for the Depositor
My mother deposited an amount of money with me, and when I mentioned it to her, she said: It is for me and my sisters, and that she would give me more. She is now in a critical condition. Is it permissible for me to give charity from this money without her or my sisters' knowledge?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to give your share to her without permission, but for the sisters' share, you must seek their permission; because it is their property, and God knows best.
