Question
Due to financial difficulties, I was forced to sell a piece of land I own to be able to buy necessities for life, and I gifted one of my children a sum of money to help him with marriage. Is this unfair to the other children, especially the daughters?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the payment to one of them is for a clear need, there is no legal objection to it; as equal treatment among children in gifts is recommended, and God knows best.
