The Ruling on Fraud by Oath
What is the ruling on someone who borrows from people, swears on the Quran that he will repay them, only to take the money and deceive people without repaying the debt?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: this is a great sin, and a sin upon a sin, so we ask Allah for well-being, and Allah knows best.
