Question
A woman whose husband traveled away from her, and he was sending money for maintenance, managed to save some of it, and succeeded in finding a project with good profits. When he returned from his trip, she confessed this to him, knowing that she had given him her entire inheritance. However, when he gets angry, he does not forgive her for hiding the savings, and when he is pleased, he forgives her, and so on. What should she do to clear her conscience and have him forgive her?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: A woman is not allowed to manage a man's money by buying, investing, gifting, or otherwise except with his consent, and she must return all his money to him, and she should not do that except with his permission, and God knows best.
