The Ruling on Forgetting Some Verses of the Quran in the Hereafter
The memorizers of the Quran may forget some verses in this world, so when they recite the Quran in the Hereafter, will these verses remain forgotten by them?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: We ask for forgiveness in this matter; because it is customary for someone who memorizes to forget part of what they have memorized, and in condemning Muslims, it deters them from memorizing the Quran out of fear of forgetting. And God knows best.
