Question
Question: A 52-year-old woman suffers from menstrual irregularities, and sometimes she sees blood outside of her period. What is the ruling on her fasting?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: If the blood lasts for three days, and the interval between the two blood periods is fifteen days, then it is considered menstruation, and it is not permissible for her to fast during it. And Allah knows best.
