The Ruling on Expiating an Oath by Fasting

Question
Is the expiation of an oath done by fasting for three days?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The expiation for an oath is to fast for three days, for one who does not have the means to feed ten needy people, which is approximately twenty dinars. Therefore, for one who possesses this amount, fasting is not valid, and God knows best.
