Question
A lady's father has passed away, and she is crying excessively for him due to her deep longing for her father. Is her action considered sinful, and does her crying cause punishment for the deceased?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If what she is doing is beyond her control, she will not be held accountable for it, but she should seek reward from God Almighty, and that this is God's way in His creation, and she should increase her prayers, seeking forgiveness, and remembrance, and dedicate the reward to her father, for this is what benefits him, not crying. And God knows best.
