The Ruling on Eating from the Aqiqah and Fidyah
Is it permissible to eat from the aqiqah or fidyah, or to take a portion of the meat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The aqeeqah and the fidyah are recommended acts of worship, and it is permissible to eat them and take meat from them, and God knows best.
