The Ruling on Eating from a Vow

Question
A lady vowed to slaughter a sheep upon the success of a relative in their studies. Is it permissible for her or any of her relatives to eat from the slaughtered animal?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The vow is specifically for the poor, so it is not permissible for the one who makes the vow and his descendants and ancestors to eat from it, and God knows best.
