The Ruling on Divorce and Returning After a Private Meeting
A woman was contracted to, and after the contract, her husband divorced her without consummation. They had a private meeting during which there was no indication of sexual relations, then he took her back without a new contract and consummated the marriage. What is the ruling on this? Is a new contract required for her return? If a new contract is required, is there an expiation for unlawful intercourse?
