The Ruling on Distributing the Sacrifice Only to Relatives
Is it permissible for me to distribute the meat of the sacrifice only to relatives, knowing that they are not in need?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The meat of the sacrifice belongs to the one who offers it, and he can do with it as he wishes, provided that he does not sell it. However, it is preferable to distribute it to the poor. And God knows best.
