The Ruling on Denying Children Inheritance Due to Their Disobedience
A capable man has two sons, one righteous and the other unrighteous. Is he allowed to deny the unrighteous son his inheritance?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: It is not permissible for him to deny any of his children their inheritance; because it is a right granted to them by Sharia, and he should treat his son well and increase his prayers for him. And God knows best.
