The Ruling on Denying an Undutiful Son His Inheritance
A widow says: Her son is undutiful, he insults her, mocks her, belittles her, and does not respect her. Is she entitled to deny him his inheritance?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is better for her to be patient with him and to increase her prayers for him, and not to deny him his inheritance, perhaps Allah will guide him and take him by the hand, and Allah knows best.
