The Ruling on Delaying Zakat Beyond Its Due Time
A lady has money that is due for zakat at its time, but she has taken out part of it due to her need before the due date. Does the remaining amount need to be paid at exactly the same time, or can she delay it until she receives her salary?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to advance the zakat and it is permissible to delay it as the giver sees fit, and God knows best.
