The Ruling on Delaying the Payment of a Deceased Person's Debt with the Debtor's Consent
Does the deceased incur sin if we delay paying his debt with the debtor's consent?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: God willing, he does not incur sin, but it is feared that it was done out of shyness from the creditor; therefore, it is preferable to pay if possible, and God knows best.
