The Ruling on Continuing to Wear Black Clothes After the Husband's Death
A lady's husband passed away four years ago, and she still wears black clothing out of respect and love for him, not as a mourning. Is her action correct?

I say, and with God's help: It is forbidden for a wife to mourn for her husband beyond the period prescribed for her by law, which is the waiting period for a wife, and she must wear what is customary and return to her normal life. God knows best.
