The Ruling on Congregational Prayer in a Suspicious Place
I work in the army, and the place where we pray is small and does not accommodate the worshippers, especially after the implementation of social distancing among the worshippers. Some have suggested that we pray in a larger place instead of the mosque, but this place hosts night parties and alcohol, and there are dancers present, may Allah protect us. Is it permissible to pray in this place, or should we pray under the sun despite the harm to the worshippers?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Avoiding places of immorality due to the possibility of impurity and the doubts involved is preferable, and God knows best.
