The Ruling on Congregational Prayer for Men
A man who is able to go to the mosque to perform the congregational prayer, but prays at home without an excuse, is his prayer valid?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: praying in congregation at the mosque is a confirmed Sunnah. Whoever neglects it has a valid prayer, but he is sinful for neglecting the Sunnah. And God knows best.
