The Ruling on Conditional Marriage
A husband secretly married a second wife, and he stipulated that if the first wife learns of this marriage, he will divorce the second wife. The first wife is aware of his second marriage. Does the divorce take place?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: Conditions in marriage are not taken into consideration, and the husband should fear Allah regarding the daughters of Muslims, and the first wife should not seek her divorce. And Allah knows best.
