The Ruling on Committing to the Text of the Vow
A woman vowed to wear the jilbab if her mother was cured, and after her mother was cured, she wore it. Now she wants to wear the cape, knowing that it reaches below the knee. Does this invalidate her fulfillment of the vow?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to wear anything that is lawful, and the cloak as described is lawful, and God knows best.
