Question
A woman, after the opening Takbir for the obligatory prayer, remembered that she had not prayed the Sunnah before it, so she interrupted her prayer and then resumed the Sunnah prayer. What is the ruling on what she did?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is disliked to interrupt the obligatory prayer without a compelling excuse. She should have continued with the obligatory prayer, and then prayed the Sunnah afterwards; there is no dislike in that. And God knows best.
