The Ruling on Celebrating the Prophet's Birthday
Is it permissible to buy sweets and distribute them out of love for the Messenger (peace be upon him) and in celebration of his birth?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is recommended to celebrate the Prophet's birthday and to do all kinds of good deeds for that purpose, and God knows best.
