The Ruling on Blood That Appears During the Period of Purity
A woman saw menstrual blood for five days, then it returned after nine days. What is the ruling on the returning blood? Is it menstruation or irregular bleeding?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It cannot be considered a new menstruation unless fifteen days have passed from the period of purity. Therefore, the blood after nine days is considered irregular bleeding, not menstruation. And God knows best.
