The Ruling on Blood Flowing After a Surgical Operation
A woman underwent a surgery, and blood is flowing from the site of the stitches. Does she have to remove this blood before praying?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: If she can remove it without apparent difficulty, then she must remove it before praying, as well as perform ablution due to its discharge, for her ablution is invalidated by its flow. And Allah knows best.
