The Ruling on Attending Friday Sermon in an Unintelligible Language
What is the ruling on my attendance at the Friday sermon in Turkish without understanding anything, knowing that Arabic mosques are far from me?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If it is difficult for you to attend the sermon in Arabic, it is permissible for you to attend it in another language even if you do not understand anything, until the obligation is lifted from you, and God knows best.
