The Ruling on Arbitrary Divorce
Is there such a thing as arbitrary divorce? Does a woman deserve compensation for it?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: this is contrary to Sharia and has no basis in Sharia, and the woman does not deserve anything in return for it, and God knows best.
